Testicular Biopsy

Advanced diagnostics and sperm retrieval for severe male infertility.

Diagnostic & Therapeutic Approach

Testicular biopsy is a critical diagnostic procedure used to ascertain the root cause of Male Infertility, particularly in cases of Azoospermia (zero sperm count).

Our Clinical Protocol

At Urogyn Centre, we believe a biopsy should not be done in isolation. It must only be performed in a facility where advanced freezing facilities are available.

We do not perform purely diagnostic biopsies. Instead, we combine the procedure with therapeutic sperm retrieval: mTESE + Sperm Freezing.

Why mTESE + Freezing?

A standalone diagnostic biopsy often wastes precious tissue and potentially viable sperm. By performing Micro-dissection TESE (mTESE), we use high-power magnification to find "pockets" of sperm production. If sperm is found, it is immediately frozen (Cryopreserved) for future use in IVF/ICSI, saving the patient from a repeat surgery.

Instant Cryopreservation

Saving viable sperm the moment they are found.

Microsurgical Precision

Higher success rates in finding sperm compared to needle biopsy.
